Safeguarding

Are you worried about the wellbeing or safety of a child? Come and speak to key members of staff who will be able to offer you advice and guidance. We are here to help.

At Birley Spa, nothing is more important to us than ensuring that all children are cared for and thrive.

We work diligently with pupils, families and external agencies to ensure that the best possible support can be offered to any of our pupils who need it.  Our curriculum teaches pupils ways to stay safe and the importance of knowing how to get help if needed.

Our pupil voice group, the Safeguarding Stewards, are actively involved in affecting change in our community and champion being safe in a range of ways.  We support pupils to stay safe in school, at home and online.
